Join the team at East Coast Roast, a local coffee roastery known for our highly awarded coffee and friendly service. We’re looking for an experienced casual Barista / Café Assistant to help serve exceptional coffee and good vibes at our Nerang Cafe.
About the role:
- Approx. 25-30 hrs/week Monday to Friday (we don’t open weekends)
- 33.85/hr Monday – Friday(casual rate under the Restaurant Industry Award)
- Our opening hours are 6:30am till 2pm so shifts are either a morning shift 6am till 10:30 or a full day’s shift 6:30am till 2pm.
You’ll:
- Prepare and serve top-quality coffee using our award-winning beans
- Deliver warm, efficient customer service
- Assist with simple food prep (making toasties) and light baking (cookies and muffins)
- Help keep the café clean, stocked, and running smoothly
- Be able to use initiative and good judgement during quiet periods to stay productive and self-directed.
It’s a super friendly local spot that’s been in Nerang for many years. Most of our customers are workers from surrounding businesses who come in every day.
