Now Hiring – Coffee Roaster
Cre8ive coffee is one of the Gold Coast’s longest serving coffee companies, originally starting as Queensland’s first ever coffee cart over 24 years ago at Griffith Uni. We supply hundreds of cafe’s on the Gold Coast including some of the city’s biggest and best locations. Under new ownership the brand is getting a revamp and the team is excited to take coffee on the Gold Coast to a new level.
That’s where you come in. Our existing roaster is hanging up his roaster’s flanno, so an opportunity has come up to take the wheel of our 45kg locally made Phantom roaster.
The roasting role is 2 days per week however there is plenty of other work to do if the applicant is looking for full time work. We’re looking for someone who’s not afraid of hard work, producing 15 roasts a week across our 5 or 6 main blends, while at the same time someone who’s keen to experiment on new products as we work on elevating the brand and the business.
We’re fully Gold Coast owned and made and operate out of a great location in the Industrial precinct in picturesque Nerang, or as we call it the Gateway to the Gold Coast. Training and handover will be provided, however our ideal candidate will come with a coffee background and some roasting experience.
